Attract new Regional Investors to support the Chamber’s One Plan resulting in both broader leadership engagement and financial capital.


Successful outcomes for the leader in this position include:

  • Increase Investor revenue to fund the One Plan enlarging the number of Regional Investors
  • Broaden awareness for Chamber's One Plan with prospective investors
  • Sustain effective relationships and communications with assigned Regional Investors

 Essential Functions:

  • Prospecting for new Regional Investors through multiple sources
  • Cultivate relationships to attract new Regional Investors
  • Ask for the investments
  • Convert the ask to revenue
  • Build enduring relationships with these new Regional Investors

Characteristics Needed for Position:    

  • Works at a fast pace with an urgency and focus on achieving goals.  Manages multiple projects and activities simultaneously
  • Focuses on people, nurturing relationships, and team building.  Inspires and motivates others
  • Involves others in the decision-making process from a communications stand-point but still retains an independent direction/ownership of decision.  Makes decisions cooperatively and collaboratively
  • Communicates persuasively, with a warm, enthusiastic, empathetic approach
  • Leads with an ability to motivate others.  Has a strong commitment to produce results

 Experience and Specialized Training Required:   

  • At least  2-4 years of experience in fundraising/sales or similar


  • BA or BS degree or 6 years of equivalent experience in fundraising/sales   

 Physical Effort:

The position will require talking, listening, reading, and sitting for long periods working at a computer screen. This position may require up to 20% of time outside the office working on Chamber business. May need to work some evenings and extended hours. Ability to work under time constraints and in a stressful environment.
